...I've got a baby in my belly! AN ACTUAL BABY!

Frankly everything else seems fairly irrelevant and boring, although I'm sure that my workplace wouldn't agree.

Does this wear off at any point during pregnancy I wonder? I can imagine that it's going to carry on for the next 6 months. :)

No if anything it gets worse when the baby starts moving because then you have this little reminder kicking you every so often and a bump getting in the way. I've got to the stage now that no one wants to talk to me because i can't shut up about the baby i know i'm boring everyone but honestly can not stop! I'm even losing interest in gossip!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I have to agree it gets worse! I've got just over 6 weeks to go and it's driving me insane. I have no desire to be here, all I want to do is read up about my baby and sort the nursery etc. I really shouldn't be like this because work is incredibly busy and stressful, but I need to get outta here, but unfortunately need the money a lot more!

Congrats on your pregnancy! x

I'm same but with college, I'm a student to be a paramedic, and I'm losing interest in studying and doing assignments, I've already got a 2 year old which refuses to let me do my work. But the lack of motivation I have to do ANYTHING is unreal. I'm even struggling to drag my bum off sofa and tidy up! I can't remeber being like this when pregnant with my first, I managed to be at college full time and work 36 hrs a wee until I was 38weeks! What is wrong with me this time round?? Although thru complications I have been told to take it easy but this takes p*ss lol. Sorry for my rant a bit x

it wont ware off! lol i've been on countdown to maternity leave the moment i found out!!! 51 working days left! I'm alot more laid back now, normally little things will really grate but nothing seems to bother me any more cos come january i'm out of there!

I'm the same...I'm on 49 days left and although I have loads to do I really can't be faffed. Spent today talking to colleagues, reading through the high street christmas catalogues and reading the boots health and beauty magazine. Oh and I wrote 4 paragraphs of a report that was ACTUAL work Blush. And I sat for a bit and watched my bump wiggle. It's happening again now and I really should be doing dinner...am I a terrible wife? (I'm operating under the assumption that I am probably currently a terrible employee!! Grin)

Work is so boring!!! All I do is sit and think about my little baby and count down the days till I leave. You are not alone. x
