Hi i read somewhere that the baby moves more before labour.

I am 36+5 and feel the baby moving a lot more compared to recently.

I wanted to know if this was true and if so how long rougly after this happens does labour come on? i am guessing i have a few weeks left to go but panicing incase this isnt the case!

i'd read that the movements lessen (but that you should still feel odd flurry of then each day!) before labour!! Baby quietens down a bit ad runs out of space. Who knows? I'm currently turning every symptom into signs of early labour!!

It is a myth that movements should change before labour. The baby should mmove actively to her pattern right up to and even during labour. Any change in movements, more or less, should be reported to your MW for monitoring. You can never be too careful.

I had that and it was the baby moving from the perfect position to back to back. My advice is to crawl round on your knees and sit on a ball. And also have a chat with mw as the previous poster suggested.
