is this normal? need answer asap

Can someone give me a quick answer on this please. I know that you pee more while pregnant but i am having to go every 30 - 40 mins and up to 6 times during the night also when i hold it even for 5 mins to look for a loo i get a uncomfortable almost painful feeling low down in my tummy when i walk. i first thought the pain was the SPD but i've noticed it always comes on when i need to pee. Is this normal?? doc has an open surgery in an hour can anyone let me know asap.

Yes go and take a urine sample. Could be urinary tract infection, could also just be baby sititing on bladder but better to be sure!

It sounds quite a lot, but some people pee more frequently even when not pregnant. How often do you normally go?

Are you making sure you empty your bladder completely? Everythings pretty squashed and I found if I relaxed and jiggled around then sometimes I could squeeze more wee out. Also try pelvic floor exercises which will help.

I'd go to the doc anyway though, just for peace of mind.

thanks i'm going to docs. I have been going alot but the last few days weekish it's just felt like somethings not right with the discomfort and i don't think my bladder is getting emptied tho i try. You know sometimes you just get a feeling that somethings not right. Thanks again

thanks ladies went to docs and got a 3 day course of antibiotics have to go back if it doesn't help.

dreamc1 I will try the paracetamol if i'm going out too, a 25 min walk from my gran house had me nearly weeing myself and walking funny i need to be able to go out for more than 15 mins at a time lol
