I'm 16 weeks 3 days and desperate for a bump lol

I've read that the baby more than doubles in size between 15 to 20 weeks so I think I can see a paunch but not sure if i'm imagining it, I'm a size 18 aswell so a bit more difficult as nit the smallest person to begin with!

When did you lot start showing? xx

With my first, nit until about 20 weeks, with the next two, much earlier.

6 weeks... But I was expecting twins! Guess that's not really what you're after?!

[hgrin]

MrsCog · 30/10/2011 09:05

About 18 weeks, but even then it was easily disguised, for no 'uncertainty' probably about 20 weeks.

hairylights · 30/10/2011 09:07

Between 12-14 weeks.

kiki22 · 30/10/2011 09:20

i popped at 11 weeks, but stayed the same til about 18 weeks then suddenly got much bigger then again at aboout 24 weeks suddenly had a proper no doubt about it she's not just fat bump.

roz1982 · 30/10/2011 10:05

I noticed clear difference about 12 weeks, everyone else, 16-20 weeks. People really aren't as observant as you think!

MillyStar · 30/10/2011 10:11

Awww thanks ladies hopefully not long for me then ;)

i'm 24 weeks today and still don't look pregnant. Probably more a bit bloated :( If you didn't know me and passed me on the street you'd be none the wiser. I wasn't huge to start off with, a size 14/16 but i've always been active so guessing I have a strong core that baby is struggling to get through! I did notice yday my jeans are a bit tighter so went to get maternity ones which was depressing as they were all too big. I feel like i'm missing out :(

bmm39 · 30/10/2011 14:34

About 12 weeks. It varies with different people so hold tight and your little bump will make an appearance soon. x

Graciescotland · 30/10/2011 14:42

About 19.5 weeks.

MandaHugNKiss · 30/10/2011 17:11

I think around 24 weeks... but it was only obvious to me, and not necessarily to strangers/those unaware I was pregnant.

Everytime I've been examined by a midwife in late pregnancy they always comment on my 'good stomach muscles' so I suppose they hold everything back. That said, I was huge by the end of the pregnancy with ds2 (he was 9lb 12oz) and my stomach muscles are definitely not what they were before him. I'm 11+2 now and not a sniff of showing yet though... infact I'm about 6lbs down and looking thinner (thanks, ms Hmm )

heatherwil · 30/10/2011 18:14

Between 18 and 20 weeks.

localcrackpot · 30/10/2011 18:38

Waist thickened at 8 weeks, bump later

VivaLeBeaver · 30/10/2011 18:40

About 2 year after I had her. Sad

Never really looked pregnant but am now 2stone heavier than when I was 9months pg.

Xmasbaby11 · 30/10/2011 18:55

20 weeks - happened overnight! i too was impatient and very proud to have a bump.

purplehonesty · 30/10/2011 18:55

people could tell with me at around 12 weeks - I looked like I was having twins but then I was really skinny before I had my first. This time around it will be a while before folk guess I think as my tummy is not flat anymore!!!

MrBloomsNursery · 30/10/2011 19:08

I had no bump at all on my 20 week scan. It appeared out of the blue when I was about 26 weeks.

This time I started showing at about 20 weeks.

Dlamis · 30/10/2011 19:34

Well after 20 weeks. People at work were stunned when i told them i was pg and how far along. I could still hide it at 32 weeks with the right clothing.

Dc2 about 16 weeks ish.

Pascha · 30/10/2011 19:39

The blinds fitter asked me last year when he came to do the baby's window, if the baby was out with grandparents as the house was so quiet?

I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time.
