Evening all,
I'm 36 weeks with dc2. This one has been a little wriggler, 2 nights ago the baby moved (a big move felt like a flip over) and was wriggling all yesterday. I've just had supper and realised I haven't felt any movements for what I think is all day. I've been taking it easy today (feet up) as my blood pressure is always low and I get quite weak knees quite easily.

Went to the freezer for an ice lolly to see if that would help but my bloody freezer has defrosted itself (new one coming this week). Currently drinking some water but not too sure what it is I should be doing.

I really hope you are on your way to hospital, I had to make a visit to the labour ward at 41 wks with reduced movement, I didn't have a happy outcome my daughter was stillborn. Please take a change in baby's movements seriously and get checked out. Let us know how things are, hope everything is ok.

All is ok. I am going to the local village hospital tomorrow as my OB is there and will monitor me for a bit too.

Thanks so much for all your advices :)

I'm so pleased all is okay Smile

Baby had basically moved over (was back to back and has flipped)...but it's limbs are down so they said it might move slowly but certainly can't wriggle about :) PHEW!

hittheroad I am so relieved everything is ok with you and baby, I am sorry if I scared you it certainly wasn't my aim. I just don't want anyone to suffer from what I went through. The link posted up thread about chloe's count the kicks has some fab advice and information.

Lozzer79 · 31/10/2011 07:34

I had the same problem last week (at 37 weeks) and the hospital told me to come in right away to be monitored. It's better to be safe than sorry x
