Strepsils and losenges

Can you take these in pregnancy? Ive gotthe most painful sore throat, really need something just dont know if they are safe to use!

I was told halls soothers, tunes etc were fine by the pharmacist (basically just sugar), but to avoid anything with antiseptic or anaesthetic.

I was told yesterday by the Pharmicist in Boots that they are all fine so long as they don't have a warning for pregnant women on the pack....cough mixture is out and only other thing is Paracetamol I'm afraid.

A total bugger when the other half is happily popping cold a flu pills like no tomorrow.........
