I have 21 year old and 12 year old son, my new partner of 3 years is 10 years younger and does not have any children. Two years ago I removed my coil, to date no pregnancy. I feel more tired now and feel at last i have more freedom, Is it wise to keep trying, I love children and would love to give him one , but really i think the time has passed me now. Do I really want another 18 years of child care, being anchored down

I have no idea, do whats best for you? :)

If you got pregnant would you be happy bringing up a baby if he left or changed his mind? I think its something you need to want rather then to please a partner.

Hope you get some good advice and support!

I'm 41, have ds1 22, ds2 20 and dd is 5. I'm 32 wks preg with ds3. My first two are with xh and the youngest two with dh. It was a big decision to have dd. I was 36 when she was born and dh is 5yrs younger than me, he was keener than me to start with but she's one of the best things I've ever done! We did however say we'd only have her....... then changed our minds last year.

This baby is very much wanted, but dd is just getting easier and I sometimes think I'm nuts! I've struggled with being preg this time. I've been more tired, I'm on crutches with spd and just not really enjoyed as much as before despite really wanting to be preg and wanting this baby so much. I've had a mmc in Jan then mc in March so sometimes I wonder if I've just buggered my hormones up tbh!

Have you been to the doctor for tests?? That would be a good starting point, at least you'd know if you had option.

It's a tough decision!
