Is it normal to feel so crap at 36 weeks?

Or do I need to bug my GP? I've been feeling rough since last Thursday, starting with an ear ache and generally feeling really unwell ( I can only compare to the first 3 months). Sunday sore throat started and have been full of cold, generally feeling crap, nausea, no appetite since. No fever. Can't distinguish what's a virus and what's pregnancy, though I did not feel this awful at the end last time. Any suggestions?

That sounds entirely normal for the last few weeks of pregnancy I'm afraid. :(

Rest up, eat cake, drink tea and wait. :)

Downing as much raspberry leaf tea as I can. And eating many many packs of ready salted crisps as that's all I can seem to handle Sad. I hate this! Blush

I wouldn't say the sore throat/cold thing is totally normal pregnancy symptom, (sounds like a bit of a winter bug to me,) though mixed in with feeling generally under the weather, exhausted, hot flushes, off food etc.. (along with many other delights which are all common in late pregnancy!) it's prob a bit of both! Poor you, you have my every sympathy! Know what it's like as I'm 37wks with no.4 and feeling totally lethargic and fed up :( Never wanted to labour too early obviously, but now I'm 37+3, anytime from the weekend be gd! My 18mth old toddler's running rings round me and not keeping up well... (not sure if wishing baby out's the best idea as it's all prob just about to get a whole lot harder lol! )
Good luck with it all and hope you haven't got too many weeks to wait! :)

agree with the other about it night be a bug too Im 32 weeks and I got a cold few weeks ago I couldnt even get dressed felt so ill it wasnt flu thou but normally I can work when I have a cold so pregnancy totally makes you more sensitive. I am also feeling rubbish thou just feeling heavy and achy and tired. Bit emotional and feeling sick and dont feel like going out. It all natural I even brought it up with midwife and she said yes all normal and been getting period type pains too all normal as well I might post on this thou to see if anyone got any advice.x
