quick question...is bowling safe?

Hi might sound silly but nowadays ya never no! Lol. So I'm 14 weeks pregnant..and wondering if bowling is safe as I'm going later with family.I love bowling but not been for 3 1/2 years! N when I did go I really got the errm swing into it if u get me.

Yes. Be careful, as your ligaments are all softened, so you might be more prone to pulling them slightly. And perhaps go for a lighter ball than usual. But you'll be fine.

At least I hope you will. I'm going bowling with my 38-week pregnant sister on Friday :o

Oh that's ok then :) thankyou! I'll be extra careful as I've had complications , 6-10 weeks pain and bleeding n just loads of pain now. I already use a light ball anyway lol. Miss weakling here!

Hmmm. If I'd had complications, I'd be more wary, tbh.

I think that if you feel the need to ask, and you've already had complications, you know the answer yourself! IMO it is more risky to do something that you have not done in ages, than something you have always done regularly and your body is used to. Being pregnant is hard for so many reasons. It's rubbish having to avoid the things you love. But that's parenthood, doing or not doing things for the benefit of the kids! says she who intends continuing with riding despite being 4 weeks pg after trying for 7 months Wink
