this might sound a bit thick, but what goes into the changing bag other than nappies, bottles, baby wipes and a change of clothing?????

I have nappy sacks, muslin square, bib, disposable bottle (in case im out longer than i intend to be and have used all my normal bottles). Cartons of ready made formula (same reason), small scissors to open carton, couple of small toys and antibacterial hand gel (to clean hands and handy to clean toys that get chucked on floor). I also have bags that you can stick in microwave to sterilise bottles if im at someones house that doesn't have a steriliser.
Don't now if thats ott but i like to be prepared!

As Bettie said, plus a sachet of Calpol and a medicine spoon

I have disposal bags for the nappies. A larger plastic bag in case the clothes are wet/poo covered, muslins (he dribbles. A lot!). Small tube of nappy cream, in the summer a small thing of sun cream and in the winter a tube of face cream. My changing bag doubles as my handbag, so then all of my junk too... I BF DS so didn't need bottles except a water bottle for me.

Once they're a bit older: water bottle, bibs, snack, lunch, cutlery, first aid kit etc

Definitely second the hand gel - especially if you need to change them and there's nowhere for you to wash your hands

I have a lovely big changing bag BUT I end up just shoving a small drawstring bag with nappies, nappy sacks and a change of clothes into my handbag when we go out. Plus an insulated bag with made up bottles and a muslin. It's just too much faff to have a huge bag for DS and another bag f

Plus an insulated bag with made up bottles and a muslin. It's just too much faff to have a huge bag for DS and another bag for me with purse, keys, phone etc. Just my experience but be prepared not to use all the bumpf you get for baby! Life's complicated enough...
