Earlier on a bit of my bump was tender and sore to the touch for a while. It's ok now. Don't remember this happening with my first. Don't want to bother GP/midwife with a shortlived symptom that's now passed, but for some reason I've got a niggling worry about it. Does this sound normal? Can anyone reassure?

I had exactly the same!! I'm 24+3 and have had a really tender right side of my bump. At the time I also had pain under my bump. I was concerned but after telling my hubby he got me to phone the hospital and it turned out the under the pain bump which actually a urine infection.
Had my antenatal yesterday and said about the tender pain in my side which also really hurts if I turn to my right in driving, and the midwife said it was the way the baby was lying with his feet sticking in that side.
My son did constantly kick my left rib so I suppose it makes sense as that side didnt get as much abuse the first time??
I'd get it checked out though just for peace of mind! I think it's always worth speaking to the GP even if you feel stupid and it turns out to be nothing! x

Thanks Stef. Have convinced myself that it's ok - baby still kicking loads so must be, right? It must just be because I'm so much bigger this time than last...
