Hyperemisis with hyper salivation?

Is anyone else suffering Hyperemisis plus the added annoying side effect of hyper salivation? I'm 12 weeks through my first pregnancy and am still so so sick. Even if the nausea were to subside enough for me to leave my flat for 10 min I cant because I have to constantly spit into a cup (up to a litre and a half of saliva a day, I kid you not). Its too embarressing to tell my friends so I wont let them visit...my husbands a doc and he told me how rare these side effects are that most doctors know little/care little about it. Am I the only one??? :(

Earlier in my pregnancy I also had this symptom of hyperemesis. I'd wake up in a pool of it! Unfortunately, it didn't go until the most extreme nausea and vomiting stopped - 20 weeks for me, but you are not the only one. I hope you feel better soon and that you're getting the help you need.

I've now got it, its my third pregnancy and I didn't get it with the first two so its a bit of a shock.
Are you still getting it TLee?
