Sorry there's no other way to title this!!

Its not diareia (sp) but incredibly soft and has been pretty much throughout my pregnancy (now 36w) doesn't seem to matter what I eat.

I had a period of about 4 days where I didn't go a few months ago but before and since then it's been rather squishy!

Which makes me more nervous about pooing in labour.... Maybe in the birthing pool.... gross

Is there anything I can do - I don't eat a great deal of fibre or fruit/veg maybe 2/3 a normal day when I'm at work...

I'm not sure what you can eat to make it more "solid" but I really wouldn't worry about it being soft. Constipation is a frequent problem for pregnant women so I would count yourself lucky!

As for worrying about "going" during labour, TBH when it all kicks off it will be the last thing on your mind (I was worried about this with DC1, but I was so spaced out on gas and air I wouldn't have even known about it if I had poo'd and I still don't know to this day if I did).

Pregnancy makes me more soft rather than constipated (for which I thank my lucky stars as I've had v. bad constipation in the past and would hate to have it when pregnant).

Bananas apparently bind you up so you could try that. Otherwise bulk up your fibre intake with more wholewheat bread, pasta and crispbreads or up your veg portions.
