Hi,
I'm 18+3 with first DC and had what I can only describe as tummy spasms last night & today, probably only once every couple of hours - feels like tightening in a band from just above my belly button to just below my tummy button.
Couldn't get hold of various midwives & would up with a telephone appt with unsympathetic & unreassuring Dr. who said that it's too early for DH, I've got no other gynae issues & it's probably a dodgy tummy (despite no symptoms of an upset stomach). The only thing he could do was an internal exam.
Could it be Braxton hicks? Or should I be marching down to the hospital to get it checked out? Feeling really scared & anxious about it all & really not sure what to do. Any advice?
