C section pre op question

Hi. I'm having a planned c section and go for a pre op appointment a few days before. Just wondering what to expect? Also is this carried out by a mw/ nurse or a consultant? Thanks!

Mine was with a MW. Did blood tests & usual baby check up stuff.

Usual checks. Nothing additional.

Give you the drugs you need to take. Tell you to wax. Discuss cord blood collection if your hospital do it. Otherwise just the normal checks and then they tell you the hospital proceedure.

I also met an aneathetist (sp) to discuss problems I'd had with a previous spinal.
