swollen eyelid/ infection/ styes? Anyone else suffering from this?

Hello
I'm 32 weeks and usually wear contact lenses but for the last 3 weeks + I've not been able to wear a contact in my left eye. It is irritable, painful and over the last 4 days the lid above it has swollen up and is very painful (especially in the mornings) I've tried hot salty water but had no improvement.
Is this just another delightful part of pregnancy?
I'm annoyed because I need to drive and it's beginning to effect my vision now.
Anyone else suffered this? ideas?

I suffer with styes/blepharitis and I had a bad flare up in my pg with ds. It just wouldn't go away.

To clean it, use a little bit of baby shampoo mixed with warm water and some cotton buds. Clean inbetween all the eyelashes and if you're getting a film if clear gunk over your eye I normally get to that with a folded piece of tissue.

You can buy chloramphenicol over the counter in the form if drops or ointment if it doesn't clear up.
