I want my ankles back!

Since we had the hot weather I have been seriously swollen in hands, legs and feet. My MW is aware and monitoring me.
Does any one have any tips for getting the swelling down?
I have a pillow under the foot of my mattress and am taking gentle exercise each day but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Are you drinking lots & lots & lots & lots of water? Have you tried ankle rotations & flexing your foot while sitting down? Sit & rest as much as possible eg peel veg sitting instead of standing. Hth

I feel your pain! Same thing has happened to me! I'm finding walking tricky & can only get my feet into one pair of sandals now. I've tried the same things too but with little effect....but I do get a lovely daily foot massage from dh every evening which feels great! Fortunately at 38 weeks I'm hoping it goes back to normal v soon.....

My feet have been so swollen sometimes i can't feel my toes! The only thing i found helped was walking. It took down the swelling a lot. The other thing i've read is apparently putting dark cabbage leaves around your ankles. Don't wash them just put them in the fridge to get cold and wrap them around. Get rid of them when they get wet. Haven't gotten around to trying it myself yet.
