Hi all,
Im just on 35 wks, first baby. Had my mw appointment the other day and was told baby is head down now and head was 'brim' she said basically her head is down quite low.
The last 2 days baba is kicking sooo hicg, im sitting here now and a lump keeps sticking out of the very top of my bump, literally just under my bra!
Is this normal?! might sound crazy, just never felt it this high, its usually been just under my ribs. Im starting to think this baby is very long!
Will this all change when she 'drops'?
Sorry if i sound stoopid, first time mum and all! :)

not much help as I'm also a first timer but that sounds fairly similar to what I'm feeling.

Am 37+3 and when I saw MW 2 weeks ago I was 2/5 engaged but there is definately something really high up under my bra and what I think might be a foot round my right hand side but again fairly high up.

Hopefully someone with some experience will be along with better knowledge!

same here, another first timer at 36 weeks but AFAIK that's normal and what
I was expecting based on the sketches of 'your baby at X weeks' in books. I think the difference is we're used to the baby being over here or over there. Now the whole space is taken! Bum in one rib, feet in the other, headbutting somewhere rather tender and still enough energy to punch the laptop off my belly Grin

I'm on my second at 38 weeks and I don't know how the heck they stretch into places I would never imagine. I have had little niggles right around to my sides, up top and right down as if in my back passage! I also have a little foot kicking very high up.

I felt that with DD, she was always in my ribs when I sat down from about 34 weeks. It did change at about 37 weeks when my bump dropped. I think localcrackpot has it really, baby will be taking up so much space now that you'll be very aware of every movement and change in position.

im 35 weeks on saturday and my buba has been kicking like a crazy since tuesday! lil bumps popping out here and there mainly the side of my belly button and the top of it, you can always feel him and wonder ooo what's that i got there :) his head is down also
but maybe you have got a long baby, if you read in you hospital notes you should be able to see how long she is on there graphs, there's nothing wrong with a long baby im sure. dont worry good luck x
