Ok...so I'm 11 weeks pregnant. And for the past 3 days I have had the worst headache possible. Sat down and stood up. Tho when I'm stood up it literally feels like my head is pulsing n can feel like beating in my head it hurts that much. Its making me feel sick and losing my appetite. I have been going very very dizzy and sunday I fell to the floor because if I didn't I would of collapsed. I seem to have a slight raised temperature. I think. Just keep going hot and cold. Another thing yesterday was every muscle in my body ached and I am also struggling to concentrate. Just wondering if this is normal? Iv had a child before but never felt like this. My DH and DS1 have both had a tummy bug from saturday to yesterday but I haven't been sick. Could it be linked?

Go to the doctor. I had a headache just like you describe at about 26 weeks (am now 32). I also had a high temperature and low blood pressure. I was admitted to hospital - just as a precaution - and was kept in overnight. It was just a nasty virus but they were able to give me cocodomol which helped me when paracetemol did nothing. For me it was totally non-baby related and baby was fine, but think if you are feeling that rotten it is better to be safe and let people do what they can to help you. Good luck.

Ye I suffer from low blood pressure to, though in my first pregnancy I had pre-clampsia at the end. I don't want to hassle the doctor if its nothing tho? Iv been having complications through this pregnancy already and had 3 scans n now this head ache. Paracetamols wnt touch it. And cnt take anything else as upsets my stomach! :(

You won't be hassling doctor! You describe headache as excruciating - that's quite a word to use, but it was exactly how I felt about mine. It probably is just a crappy headache/virus but at the very least they might be able to give you something to help - I didn't think I could take anything other than paracetemol, which wasnh't touching it, so it was news to me when they gave me cocodomol, but it definitely helped, and I didn't take it for any longer than I needed to. At least phone NHS 24 or whatever it's called and see what they say.

Iv phoned nurse and she's put me thru for an emergency appointment with my doctor for later today. Cocodomol contains codiene which I'm allergic to lol. It is rly bad its making me not wna eat I haven't slept for 2 days because of it. And I'm usually not a bad sleeper. My toddler rly isn't helping with his screaming :/
