26 weeks and my bump just 'hurts'

I'm 26 + 5 weeks and my bump hurts when I stand up and walk. It's from my belly button downwards and is fine while sitting. Is this just muscle/ligaments?
It feels muscular, not sharp or stabbing but seems to have got worse all day.
Thanks for any advice.

We understand your pain!
Went to the hospital with similar pains, were told that it was the baby pushing things around, like bowels or ligaments. Wasn't anything to worry about, but if it got worse we were told to head back :)

Thanks myshadow. Did it get better or worse?

Maybe check for a urine infection?

i had pains with my first pg - round ligament pain (ligaments stretching). They went and when a similar pain came back i self-diagnosed as round ligament pain again. Except it wasn't , it was a urine infection. So worth having it checked out.

I had something very similar at 26+4! It freaked me out as I hadn't had any pains before and I couldn't walk around, just hobbling in pain. I was a bit of a wuss and in tears with worry/pain. After an hour I called the midwife and she told me to come straight in. They checked me over and said all was fine, but said I did the right thing to come in. They checked blood, urine, baby's heartbeat and all were fine. The conclusion was that baby had been leaning on a nerve!

The pain only lasted about an hour in total (embarrassingly it stopped as the taxi pulled up outside the midwife clinic). If you've had it all day I would go in first thing tomorrow and get it checked out. It could be various minor things like UTI but the sooner you can be reassured the better.
