Apologies for disgusting thread topic, 39 weeks today and yesterday and today have been getting a vaginal discharge which I can feel sort of bubbling out and when u look at it is has little bubbles in it and seems ever so slightly pale green in colour.
Is this what would be classed as a frothy discharge? Do I need to do anything today? Typical that it's Saturday. Have midwife appt on Tuesday afternoon.

Oh and no smell to discharge whatsoever.

Thanks!

I would get it checked [swabs]

Maybe give the community midwife a ring?

My CMW only does mon-fri, her phone is off at weekends she says. At weekends the only number I have is for labour ward but this seems a bit extreme! Unless I leave it til Monday?

How about your GP, do they have a sat am surgery?

Just read this on babycentre site;

^if your discharge changes, it may need treating. See your doctor or midwife if your discharge is:

unpleasant and fishy smelling
frothy, yellow or green
thick and curdy

Or if you feel:

pain when you wee
sore
itchy

Depending on your symptoms, you may have thrush or a bacterial infection. It's best to have these treated before you have your baby, although thrush can come and go while you're pregnant^

I would ring labour ward. It's not extreme at all.

Pale green discharge - infection. May affect baby. They can advise on best course of action.

I would ring the labour ward too. I felt really silly ringing yesterday (for reduced movements though) especially when baby started jumping around like a maniac 10 seconds after I was hooked up Hmm but they couldn't have been nicer. At the very least, they can advise you over the phone.
