A bit of pink discharge after sex

Sorry but this is going to be tmi from the beginning.
I've been all stressed and gloomy since finding out I'm pg following miscarriage last time, but finally managed to get my groove back and have sex at 6.2 weeks. Since then I've had a bit of pink discharge on wiping with tiny threads of blood - nothing bad enough to leave a mark on knickers. I'm holding my nerve and assuming it's not a sign of disaster but not sure why it's happening. Any ideas about reasons?

Could be a bit of cervical abrasion - I had it at 16 weeks. Everything a bit rawer and more sensitive when pregs. Not problematic if it is.

Ive seen a few similar posts since I started coming on here - usually seems to be like lollystix suggests, you have a lot more blood down there at the moment and everythings a bit swollen lol so id hold on a bit longer, so long as its not heavy it should be just a sex related injury - you can always ring your midwife tomorrow Im sure they wont mind offering you some reassurance x

Yep. I went to triage about mine as a bit freaked out by it. They had a look and confirmed what it was - they didn't seem to mind seeing me. I've been in lots about various worries over my pregnancies and they've always been great - you just have to wait around a bit

Probably cervical errosion/abrasion as lolly suggests, but if your at all worried, or it keeps happening then see a MW.
Just an FYI: if you get heavier bleeding, see MW or book into your local early pregnancy unit anyway for reassurance, but if you want the blood screening at 12wks and you're still getting any bleeding at all, they may ask you to refrain from penatrative sex for 2 weeks before (they should ask you about bleeds pre-blood test), to rule out cervical errosion as the cause of the bleeding (this is what they asked me to do - mine wasn't my cervix) - cervical errosion is fine for the tests, but other bleedings can prevent them from getting an accurate result, meaning a re-test. Not an issue if you don't want the bloods screening.
