I am 7 weeks pg with DC2 - my DS is 17 months which will make him 2 when the new baby arrives. I feel completely exhausted and nauseous so am eating non stop to stave off the sickness, and am feeling so anxious about the new baby. Is this normal?

The baby is very much planned and wanted but I don't know how I will cope with the 2 of them without my family around, and I'm feeling a bit down about everything. Will this stage pass and have other people felt like this?

Ive not got a first child, just a step daughter but Im the queen of worrying - think its just hormones kicking in lol - Just think you have all that wonderful experience of looking after your first, this one, once it arrives will be a lot less anxiety provoking because you have been there before x

yes! this pregnancy (#2) has been a million times harder in every sense than my first, very easy, pregnancy. Have been an emotional and hormonal wreck, awful morning sickness, SPD from 15weeks etc etc and the anxiety has by far been the worse - though in all honesty that has improved vastly since the baby's been making stronger movements (prior to 24weeks I was down at ADU at least once a fortnight asking to hear the heartbeat)

No words of wisdom but at least comfort that you're not alone

thank you! I thought I was losing the plot already! It sounds like it's just a normal part of being pregnant, worrying about everything and anything. I can't remember the fear last time, but maybe that's because I was in blissful ignorance!! I'm sure once I start to feel better everything will look different :)
