Had scan!!

Had my early dateing scan, and me's 5 weeks 1 day, although couldnt see much, could just about make out the sac!
Have got to go back for another scan next week!!

I wouldve been if the mw doing it hadnt put a damper on it! Just kept saying it was a sac!
And when we said the kids were excited she said " why are they getting excited about that?" and that they should be excited about xmas!
Horrible woman she was!! Thats my beanie in there woman,lol!

Congratulations Pinky....I loved my scans, seems so long ago now....I just couldn't concentrate on anything that week up to the scan .

Oh how I wish I had known about Mumsnet when I was pregnant, there was absolutely nobody around me pregnant at the same time (apart from Jordan) so had no-one to talk about scans with apart from DP such a wonderful time. Hope you are feeling okay, I felt terrible for both pregnancies up to week 14.

Cant get me head around that im only 5 weeks! Been feeling sick and tired for a few weeks now...then last week the symptoms dissappeared! (Although noticed boobs have grown a bit!)
I couldnt concentrate all weekend, needed to see for myself there was something in there,lol!
Same here( about mumsnet) didnt ever occur to me they'd be websites like this when i had my first 8 years ago!

You found out really early though didn't you? Had you been trying? I found out when I was 8 weeks and I thought that was early!!! Trouble is when you find out early it then seems to take forever until the birth. Will you be due end October time then?

All this baby talking is making me broody. DP would kill me if he knew I was saying that as he has had the snip.

Its a werid feeling i get at about 3/4 weeks, i get the sickness and tiredness...then something clicks and i go and spend a fortune on pg tests,lol!
We stopped using contraception in the hope over a year ago, and when i thought all my bits had stopped working..DAA DAA!!
W e were just in process of having fertility tests,lol!
