I'm 17 w 3 d now & still feel tired. I have days that are better than others but generally I'm definitely not glowing & full of energy. My sleep is quite disturbed as I find it hard to get comfy & wee during the night but I'm getting a fair nights sleep. My iron was fine & I am still taking pregnancy vitamins.
So I guess my question is will I ever stop feeling knackered or this is until squiglett hits school age? Lol

I've had bad nights' sleep all the way through.
but i did get lots of daytime energy after about 19 weeks, i think.
can't remember exactly, but i suddenly noticed it.

I need it. I'm off to pick my kids up from school & I can't even walk straight! I actually feel drugged! Glad to hear there is hope Smile

I am wk 9 and so tired with morning sickness lasting all day everyday, work is a struggle but so far have avoided having time off sick, any advice? Thanks

I'm 25 weeks and don't really sleep much - can't get comfy on side as it hurts my ears. I've had some really bad nights followed by difficult days. I find work a bit more tiring than normal so I've cut down on evening activities and now feel mostly fine. I think lifestyle adjustments are needed if you are normally busy.

Although I'm still hoping to get a magic spurt of energy any time soon!

I never felt great. Mostly tired, a lot of that was to do with what you're experiencing (nighttime discomfort > waking up to move > immediate need for loo --> being awake)

never got any extra energy surge, never "bloomed", never felt that good - but not that bad either.

I never stopped feeling tired either, though things did improve around 14 weeks and I've never felt as exhausted as I did right in the first few weeks. I'm now 31 weeks and accepted a while ago (after some resistance) that I have to do the same as notletting, cutting down evening stuff if I'm working during the day.

I'm in bed by 9pm these days, any earlier & the kids will be putting themselves to bed. I think I need to take it easier during the day as I'm not working but an obsessive about cleaning & sorting & feel guilty for sitting down doing nothing. Also may just have to accept that the tiredness is here to stay for a bit. We do get lovely little babies at the end so it's not so bad. Thanks ladies.
