Allergic to pregnancy

Yup, I am allergic to my pregnancy.

I have PUPPS everywhere I have stretch marks (stomach and hips only thankfully) and a lighter yet still very itchy rash all over everywhere except my face (thank jeebus). I have dry, irritated, watery eyes and what feels like hayfever symptoms.

Anyone else developed anything like this in their pregnancy?

It only flared up over the last few weeks so thankful it hasn't been around longer, but it is still such a PITA!

PUPPS? small? furry? floppy ears? Confused
Sounds awful! I had bad pregnancy itching, but I wouldnt say I was allergic! It was bad enough though!

It's not pregnancy, it's male DNA you are allergic too!!
Horrid condition, calamine cream and anti histamines all round for you!!
Congrats on the boy baby though Smile

But I am having a girl PIMS... unless they got it wrong Shock

The doc gave me antihistamines but with a warning that they may affect the baby so not sure whether to take one. I have been running the shower over my tummy for some relief.

I wish it was a small furry creature with fluffy ears, I love those.

70-80% of women with PUPPS give birth to a boy, so the theory is that it's caused by an allergy to men.

Perhaps you are in the minority? Or perhaps they have got it wrong Wink
