Help to figure out my due date

Hi,

I know this sounds daft but I have PCOS and havent had a period since March time. Anyway I had an inkling I was pregnant. I had a very small bleed on 19 August lasted a couple of days - I recognised this as implantation bleeding like I had with previous child. So I tested on 24 Aug got a negative and then again on 27 August for a positive.

Can anyone do the math for a due date if implantation bleeding occurs 5-6 days after conception - I am just sending myself bananas.

How "positive" was your test on the 27th? If I assume that this would be the day when your imaginary period was due, and take 4 weeks off it, that puts your non-period on the 31st of July. That would tie in with the implantation bleed.
So following the rule.
Add a week - 6th August
Take away 3 months - 6th May 2012.

Since you haven't had a proper period since March I think you should see a doctor asap for an early scan in case you are actually further along than you think.

I know I can't be any further because I had a scan on my ovaries on 27July because I have PCOS and they checked for fibroids at the same time. Test on 27th was a faint positive and I did again on 31st and it was a very strong positive. I thought end of April beginning of May thanks for the reply. I go to see the midwife to book in this afternoon so we will see what she says. I don't really want an early scan (i.e before 12-14weeks) as I am over 35 and fat and I just know they will lecture me.

Can't wait to tell family though - but I think I will wait a couple more weeks.

Well if your 27th test was positive then you would be looking at between the 6th and the 10th of May as a due date, assuming they work at maximum 4 days before missed period.
