Cramps at 17 weeks

Title says it all really, I am experiencing cramp type pains in my lower abdomen. Not quite like period pains but still uncomfortable. Still feeling movement and no extra discharge and non that pink/red/brown.

I have read it could stretching pains but i really don't know. I can feel my ligaments stretching around my uterus though.

Any help or advice would be appreciated as you can probably realise I am quite anxious

I asked my midwife about this last week when I was also 17 weeks and she said that some pains were normal as long as they weren't constant as in all day long or getting worse over time.
She said that if the pains were going on for quite long, I should contact the hospital.

I've been having light cramps too on and off and find it really difficult to know where the difference would be between normal and not normal...

Worth getting checked out for a urine infection. Do you have backache/need to pee lots/buring on peeing?

They aren't getting any worse, more like a dull ache, there for most of the day I would say, well only when i think about it (but it is on my mind most of the time). I know what you mean about the normal and not normal thing MrsHuxtable.

I am in two minds whether to call doctor or MW, as i was there two weeks ago after some muscle tensing after orgasm. Told it was normal, but i think the cramping started then; only very rarely at first but as said before, on quite a lot of the time.

It does have backache with it too. No need to pee anymore than normal and no burning. meconiumhappens Great name by the way!

I had them too on and off throughout pregnancy- wasn't a problem but get checked out if you're concerned.
