how long did it ttc your subsequant baby?

Took me 6 months ttc my DS and now i'm ttc #2. Just wondered in comparison to your first did it take longer? less time? or are you still waiting?

I know I was pretty lucky it only taking 6 months before, but still it stressed me out every month, and I'm dreading the whole waiting game again....

Same for both - very lucky it was the first month each time

For me first one took 1 month, expected the second to take longer, but we were lucky too, 1st month.

One month the first time, 5 months for the second.

5 months the first time, 2 months the second time.

2 months first time and 1 month the second time.

2st took 3 weeks this one took 7 mnths! I was not expecting for it to take o long.

Mind you, once I figured out when I ovulate and had sex on the right night I got pg instantly.

2st? 1st obviously

18 months with dd1. Found out i was pg with dd2 when dd1 was 9 months. Was on mini pill.

1st took 1 year. 2nd took 2 months! It was a bit of a shock!

1st took three years (mc).
2nd took six months (DS).
3rd took three months (mmc).
4th took five months (currently 39wks).

It took me ages to get pregnant the first time, we did all the tests and nothing was wrong apart from I just wasn't getting pregnant but thn when I did eventually conceive (and what a shock that was after all that time!) it seems to have reset all of my systems and it's been relatively quick since then. My GP told me, during the three years, that it takes an average healthy couple 12-18 months to conceive.

Less time.

DC1 took 3 years.

DC2 took 11 months.

One month for both DC, bit of a shock as I was expecting it to take a while, but we were really lucky

dc1 took 3 months and this one took 1 month. We have been very very lucky.

9 months with DD1 (but DP worked away during week) and first go with DD2 due in 8 weeks! That was a surprise and we immediately put house on market as no where for new baby to go:o

First time straight away, second time 15 months ( 2 mc in that time) -but it was worth the wait!!!! The fact it took a bit longer and MCs were traumatic has really made me cherish and appreciate what I have.

5 years with no1, 5 MC before that though. 1 cycle for no2, straight off coming off the pill!

1st time - 1 year - DS1
2nd time - 1 year - DS2
3rd time - 9 years (but wasn't exactly trying as had been told I could have no more babies after 2nd time - but nonetheless, 9 years of no contraception) - MMC
4th time - 2 months - DD

Am currently 37 weeks with number 3 wanted 3 but wasn't strictly TTC.

1st took around 6-8 months or so
2nd took just the once, the day after we'd decided to try for our second. (DH was somewhat surprised when I called him at work to tell him I'd done a test...)

1st took 10 months. I had very irregular periods
2nd first go (couldnt believe it)
3rd first go
Baby no 1 must have fixed whatever wasnt quite working first time.

6 months for DD.
We weren't TTC this one, I am still BF (DD is 13 mo) and whilst periods are back and regular our sex life isn't! This one was conceived 3 days after the end of my period...I didn't even know that was possible!

We were just incredibly lucky.

DD - first month (age 34)

DS due Oct - second month (age 36)

Both times I was pretty organised / clinical about the whole thing tho - OPKs, temp taking and all the rest.

I also came off the pill a year before ttc DD because it made me moody. It turned out it took me about 9 months to get back to normal. Had I stopped the pill just before ttc DD, it would have taken much longer, I'm sure.

1st time took a year
2nd time took just once!

DD1 18 months I had to cancel my appointment to see why it was taking so long because I was pregnant!
DD2 3 possibly 4months
