After having such crap service from Mamas and Papas recently I thought it would be nice to be able to recommend a small independent business Smile

So, if you're looking for a nursing or maternity bra, I got one of the stretchy bravado crop tops from www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk/, got a friendly email and it arrived next day (free p&p too)

No ulterior motive, just wanted to recommend for the friendly service!

Has anyone got a link for the bravado crop tops?

Not sure which ones you mean and it sounds like they'd be perfect!

I started out at 34B and at 14 weeks am DD.... where will this end?!

So wires are ok, are they? So confused about this, nearly ended up in tears in M&S yesterday.

This is the one I got apples - though I got the double plus size, there should be a link to it from that page though I think.

Yes, LIACC, wires are supposed to be ok so long as the bra fits properly and there isn't anything sticking into your breast tissue. M&S are rubbish! You probably won't get much bigger now, I've been the same size since about 14-16 weeks, but have been slowly getting bigger in the back as my ribs have expanded!

KateeTheBump- can I ask about the double plus size, as that's what i'd need...the original one (that you linked two) is two seperate cups in a v-neck shape. Is the double plus size that you bought two cups underneath that rectangle of material, or one large crop top style top?

I know it sounds like a strange question, but I have a couple of crop tops already, and hate that the boobs aren't seperated and end up bundled together in the centre of the crop top!

Just trying to think - it does have the one rectangle, but I seem to think it has some seams inside, and I certainly haven't had any mono-boob experience with it - they seem to stay put quite well at the sides if that's any help. Its quite strong elastic at the back and round the bottom, so feels supportive. Depending on your back size I would maybe go for a slightly larger one - I got the medium one for a 38 back (goes up to 40) and it feels quite tight, but I'm persevering as I know my back will go back to a 36 (hopefully) once baby arrives and I'll be using it primarily as a nursing bra.

Thanks KateeTheBump, good news. Mono-boob just leaves me feeling smothered! Grin
