Well, I had about 1 small glass of wine a week through my pregnancies.

Nightynigh, now you may have talked me round again!

I had the occasional small drink during my 2 pregnancies and everything was fine.

Red wine is very good for your heart isn't it. Make sure you have some water too and you'll be doing yourself some good!

They do say no more than three units a week.

I have enjoyed a few glasses of wine this pregnancy.

I found having two small glasses of red wine made they craving less. Ask for a small glass and fill just over a 1/4 and drink sips of water with it too and you will be fine plus it will extend the length of time drinking it.

I used to drink the odd red wine with lemonade (lemony lemonade) when pg - v refreshing, not too strong and doesn't seem to lead on to another glass as easily.

Have a small glass of wine and plenty of soft drinks j20 really nice- will all dilute in the body no problem at all - have fun xxx

I was about 25 weeks at dh's graduation and had 2 small glasses. A couple of weeks later at a friend's 30th 1 1/2 glasses of champagne. All fine.
Parp is when you know you will get heated on the subject if you post so you warn yourself not to.

I have no problem with the idea of drinking a glass or two in pg, but unfortunately it all tastes like metallic piss to me when I'm pg.

I have had half a glass of champagne in the last 34 weeks and that is it. And that tasted awful. Booooooo.

but this baby craves Guiness

when i was 26 weeks, i went on a cruise and with our meal every nite for 11 nites, i had 1 or 2 glasses of wine and later on in the evening i had 2 cocktails so i didnt feel guilty as i wasnt knocking them back!!

Just got back - had one small white wine and lemonade and it was very nice!! Didnt fancy anymore and probably wont have another one until May when the little one is due - thanks !!!!!XXX
