Instincts about gender?

Hi all,

I'm having my anomaly scan tomorrow morning and we're hoping to find out what we're having. I have no real preference either way but my instincts tell me it's a girl. I know it's 50/50 and you can't predict but would you say your instincts were right more often than not? I think it's probably dangerous to assume, but surely every mum to be has a gut feeling?

As you can see I'm very impatient and don't want to wait until tomorrow to find out. It's gonna be a long night! :) xx

We got told at two NHS scans that this DC was probably a girl. I've thought it was a boy all along and a private scan at 33 weeks showed I was right!

Same thing as another poster re names - had very clear idea of boys name, much more vague about girls names.

I have a DD already and this pregnancy has just felt different - sickness not as bad and actually felt great in 2nd trimester! With DD the best it got was "not too bad"! Grin

I've been convinced it's a boy ever since having a dream early on that we named it Potato James (?!?).

Had 20+ week scan today and the hospital said it was inconclusive because it was sat on it's feet but I still reckon it's a boy - either that or it has very big toes that were in the way...

I knew I was having a boy right from the start I was right

I had nothing. No inkling. 20 week scan confirmed boy.

(Isn't it all just imagination/wishful thinking?)
