We have bought a primo viaggio new car seat from halfords yesterday and was wondering if the same rule applies to second hand bases as it does second hand car seats. I wouldnt get a second hand car seat but am i just being tight regarding new car seat bases/isofix bases etc!? Grin

I don't think so...but don't hold me to that.

Just check that it's not be involved in a car crash.

We have a isofix base that goes to 4 years..so if you do buy new you will get yours moneyworth!

Yes same rules apply. Hair line cracks/ plastic breaking down is impossible to see. Have looked into this myself

Unless you are borrowing from friend/family member and base not that old I would get a new one.
