second or third timers - how often did you see your mw?

Just curious... I am 29 weeks with my second dc. I have seen my midwife for booking in, then at 18 weeks, at 28 weeks and I won't see her again til 36 weeks. I assume then it will be fortnightly... Obviously I have no underlying health issues, and am not consultant led, but just wondered what was usual in other areas...? Thanks.

According to my maternity notes 8, 11, 16, 28, 34, 36 and 38 weeks.

My second midwife-led pregnancy.

according to my notes, 12, 21 (after 20 week anomoly scan), 25, 28, 30, 34, 36, 38, 40, 41

this is my third

I am pregnant with my 3rd & saw midwife at:

8 wks for booking
15wks
28wks
31wks (although think she would have left it until 34wks but I was measuring 3cm big for dates at 28wks)

I'm due to see her again at 34wks, then not sure after that.
Oh, I also had the usual 12 & 20wk scans. Had urine & BP at 12wk scan at the hospital, but nothing extra at 20wk scan - was purely a scan & then sent home straight after.

They don't seem to be bothered about seeing you so much in subsequent pregs if you are generally low risk. Quite nice really because my lovely midwife ALWAYS runs an hr late at clinic so I spend alot of time sitting around waiting for appt / feeding the parking meter etc!

I am in my 3rd pregnancy and so far have had:
Booking in with midwife at 10
Scan at 13
Consultant at 16
Scan at 21
Student midwife at 26
Bloods with midwife at 28

I am now 33 weeks and still have:
Consultant at 34
Midwife at 36- She said she won't see me again after this.
C section at 39 weeks

I'm sure in pregnancies 1 and 2 I saw a MW weekly from 36 weeks. I'm unsure why I have my last appointment at 36 weeks?

I'm consultant led technically but the cons is happy for me to have midwife led antenatal care. I've had the following appointments:

8 week booking appt with mw
12 week NT scan plus bloods etc with cons who handed me over to mw care
16wks
24wks
28wk bloods
32wks
35wks

I'm 36 weeks now and have a cons appointment tomorrow to discuss vbac vs elcs and then will see the mw at 37 weeks and weekly thereafter.
