Is it normal to have cramp-like pain at 18 weeks?

I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but I haven't experienced any cramping in this pg before, or in previous pg.
I am 18 weeks tomorrow, and have period-like pain, stomach cramps and in back too.

I'm sure it's completely normal, but having never had this before, pls put my mind at rest!?

I had this too - phoned antenatal and they reassured me it was just ligaments stretching etc. If you're still worried tho, phone your midwife Grin

Yep, your muscles stretching feels crampy- a bit like having a stitch.

I had exactly the same at 18 weeks, and found it quite painful for a few hours at a time. But it didn't last. And it is normal - as the others say - stretching growing pains.
