I'm due to give birth mid-October to my first baby, and I am clueless as to what I am going to need. Confused

DH & I are hitting the shops this weekend to pick up the 'essential' baby bits to get us started, but what are these?

I'm out of my depth as to how to even cloth the baby at this time in the year Hmm

Help!

I bought for my friend and her baby a few things. Vests, big pack of wipes, nappies, pack of bibs, change mat and a baby blanket(all season). I don't know which one was more happy. We both loved a baby blanket. With hood and legs. Really easy to use with arms in or out. I purchased it from Bug in a Rug.My friend bought another one later(bigger size)

did you buy sanitary pads or maternity pads because i used sanitary towels with DC1 and ended up with a lovely infection in my episiotomy cut, this time i'm sticking with maternity towels, not very attractive but do the job,

A snowsuit/pramsuit is nice and warm.

A blanket, i love looking at my LO blanket all folded up in my hospital bag :)

A changing mat is a good idea,

a couple of primani nighties for the labour and afterwards

A wrap sling is a great idea DC1 was born Oct 20th and was in the sling all the time for first 3 months to keep her warm,

Moses basket/crib and sheets.

Good luck with little one :)
