How accurate is the clearblue conception indicator? Panic! Driving myself nuts.

Hello
From the outset, I accept that my current state of panic is entirely my own fault and I am currently cursing technology!
I am currently (I think) 6+1 wks (last MP started 5 July). I found out 2 weeks ago today using a clearblue test that showed initially I was 2-3 weeks and then on re-testing 1-2 weeks. I have been very tired and initially had sore boobs and breahtlessness but I am now feeling better and my boobs aren't sore anymore.

So... yesterday I decided to get paranoid that I was dreaming about the whole thing and did another clearblue test. It showed that yes, I am pregnant, but only 2-3 weeks post conception... still. I did another today, completely ignoring my every patient husband who says I am torturing myself unnecessarily. It still said 2-3 weeks.

I am now panicking because it should have changed to 3+ weeks. I am also panicking that my symptoms seem to have abated. I have scoured the internet and found various discussions starting with a message like this, but most of them either never say what has happened ultimately, or confirm they have ended in miscarriage. I am now really worried I have / am / will mc.

Anyone had any experience of this? I am too embarrassed to bother my GP about this because the surgery have said they don't want to put me in the system until I am at least 8 weeks anyway (no doubt because of the mc risk)...

I too am so sorry to hear about both of your MCs-I've had a MC too so I know how heartbreaking it is.

I just wanted to add to your thread though that the weeks indicator on the CB digi is notoriously dodgy. This is because at each week of pregnancy there is a huge band of normal HCG levels, so it's very difficult for the test to translate the level into an accurate number of weeks because it varies so much from person to person. I'd only use it now to actually get 'pregnant' written rather than interpreting a line.

I'm so sorry about both of your MC's.

I just want to add in case anyone else looks at this thread in a panic that IMO clearblue digital tests are crap for how expensive they are. I got positives on 4 normal tests, but still done a clearblue digital because I wanted to see the word 'pregnant'. when it said not pregnant I was gutted, I'm now 23 weeks Hmm

Hi, I know some say not to rely on these test but has anyone had a clear blue say 2-3 then 2 days later say 1-2? Ive had 4-possibly now worried 5 miscarriages and finding it hard knowing if it's sticking or not so the clear blue is the only way to track it when blood tests aren't available unless you bleed. And as I know the HCG needs to be lower to then bleed anyway so just wondering if anyone has had any similar situations with these? I was pregnant last month so no cycle between so dates aren't easy eighth . Trying to stay positive :-/
