I haven't really worried about having a low lying placenta until now, as i've been told by so many people that it will probably move. However, i've been looking at my scan from week 32 and sonographer has written 'Placenta extends down the right anterior wall of the uterus and at the midline is 4.2cm from the internal os. However, the lower edge laterally appears lower and therefore rescan at 36/40'. As i have my scan a week today i was just wondering if anyone can shed some light on what this means i.e. midline? does this mean the middle of the placenta? It's just so I can prepare myself a little either way really.
