Where do you buy maternity pads?

Surfing amazon last night for baby bits, I was surprised I couldn't find maternity pads.

Where do you buy maternity pads from???

Got mine from Tescos! They do ones with wings in Mothercare if you prefer, though they can get stuck to stitches!

Jennifer I think it's because I found things like nipple pads on there with other baby bits, I guess amazon is a bit left field!

Amazon are starting to sell more and more, and they're prices on e.g. bouncers tend to be cheaper than kiddicare or precious little ones, i've generally been comparing the three on my wish list of bits.

I got mine (Natracare) from Amazon-be careful which of the Amazon sellers you get them from though as their postage charges vary significantly.

I made the mistake of buying maternity pads, was like sitting on a brick.

Just buy maxi night towels any brand with wings, Tesco ones are fine.

Much cheaper as Maternity stuff is just higher priced normal stuff.

aLSO MUCH COMFIER AND MORE ABSORBANT :)

I asked local chemist as couldn't find them, and she said everyone else buys the Kotex nighttime ones - which were great for me.

I got mine from morrisons, but only go 1 pack for stright after the birth, then i have got always maxi protection with wings for the following days as i believe these might be more comfortable

Don't use the night-time sanitary towels until a bit later on after the birth.

They contain plastic so don't allow any wounds (eg from an episiotomy or tear) to breathe, they lock away blood so effectively that you/MWs can't gauge if you're losing a 'normal' amount and they mask the smell of any infection that you may get.

Use maternity pads for the first week or so at least, then move on to sanitary towels if you want to.

agree with another post wounldnt bother with the maternity pads not comfy, use tena lady the super absorbent ones, way better and prob less expensive.
