Not sure what kind it was but I hired mine from Boots last time, you can do it on-line.

I've been keeping an eye on eBay but might take a look at that one that loopy mentioned Grin

I bought an obi tens from ebay

the previouse owner hadnt actually used it, and it came with tens pads, batteries, spare batteries and was £15 inc P&P.... and its mine after to keep for next time or sell again!

jcgo · 11/08/2011 11:21

Same as nannyl, l got a femme tens from ebay, unused, for less than £20 including postage with the thought that I could use it again and possibly resell in the future and make some money back so I would be quids in!

You need to keep an eye on a few though, some go for heaps and check if they have unused electrodes or not as otherwise you'd need to pay for these on top.

Watching with interest as I'm due in Dec and starting to think about pain relief.

How do they work? They sound, I dunno, tickly Grin

I actually bought one in Lidl ages ago.... for like 20 quid! I bought it for back pain...! It didnt really do much good, but it was nice for a massage.

They may have them in again this year, if i see them in the stores i'll post about it to let everyone know.

JenniferYellowHatsRedLingerie · 11/08/2011 19:07

I got mine from here £23 for 7 week's hire. Came in two days, but haven't used it yet as I'm still waiting for this baby to shift her ass and arrive
it was the one my mw was recommending.

Carrichards · 07/10/2011 23:03

I got mine from Natures gate after the MW told me about them. Worked well, Easy to use and i think about £20. i think they sell them as well.

I hired mine from Boots. I did the job really well, 9 pound baby and no other pain relief. Customer service was really good, if you go overdue just ring them and you get to keep it longer at no extra cost. However wish I had bought it the first time round, I am on baby number two now and need it again, the hire/buy price difference wasnt all that much.
