Pain above rib and tingling sensation...

I've been suffering back pain since about 14wks which has progressively got worse (I'm just over 25wks now). Combination of lower back pain and upper back pain, both in the right side, therefore not spd, and according to my mw-just my hormones (helpful) - Extent of pain varies from mild to sever- to the extent I can't sit or land in any comfy position and usually end up taking myself to bed in the hope sleep will provide respite.

Anyway, I've also been having indigestion and a weird tingling session. This was previously just after food but now the tingling is more regular-like 60-70% of the day and is accompanied by worsening rib ache, at the top of my ribs, just below my boob on the right side again.

Anyone else had this/ have any ideas what it could be / what I could do to alleviate? The combination of rib and back ache is really starting to get me down. I'm losing my appetite -as it's just too much effort, and I'm just miserable as I'm in pain for 70% the day, and all I want to do is enjoy this pregnancy having had a mc in Dec.

Just started to see a chiropractor- had one appointment this week, but was left in agony and am anxious this might not be right for me.

Sad

I get this! I had a really bad bout of pain after eating going right through to my mid/upper back and tingling under my left boob, this was long before I got pregnant and it was diagnosed as my colon being in spasm, part of me having IBS. It went away after various changes to my diet, but since aout 19 weeks in to this pregnancy it has come back with a vengance. ( I'm 24 weeks now). I'm not saying this is what is happening to you, but thought I would share my experience.

The right sided pain in your ribs could be the baby pressing against your liver. I had something similar, but can't remember how many weeks I was when it started, I remember it did last a long time (sorry!). I also had a lot of back pain (and SPD), and finally saw an osteopath. I did feel after the first time, like I had been beaten, but the next day the pain was almost gone. Subsequent treatments were less painful. I have never seen a chiropractor, but maybe give it one more go to see if it helps.

I did have various pains throughout both pgs, as everything softened, stretched and got squashed. Osteopathy was the only thing that helped. And paracetamol. Sorry not to be much help, I hope it eases for you.
