I had it with my first one and it was awful and I didn't have it the second time and it was a much much nicer experience.
I didn't really want it, but they said i would be a least 4-6 hours before baby was born, so it would be out of my system by the time I came to push.
So being a first time nervous Mum I went with what they said, instead of sticking to my own instints. Never again.
Baby was born after only 2 hours and I was off my face.
I felt like I was completely out of control, I couldn't even hold my gas and air.
I couldn't communicate properly and I hated every single second.
I couldn't hold my baby for half and hour as I was so out of it and I felt so so sick. I had a headache for hours and it really put a downer on the first few hours with my baby.
It still really upsets me now and it was 6 years ago.
.
I know everyone is different, but I'd steer clear of it.
