Babywear without logos & pictures all over?

Is it just me that doesn't like babywear with phrases like 'Made locally', 'Princess' and 'I love my daddy' printed all over them? And naff "cute" pictures all over them?

Can anyone recommend somewhere that does babywear in plain colours/stripes/spots? Or do I just need to get over my aversion to logos and pictures?! Even three packs of babygros seem to contain at least one babygro with a slogan on it.

I hate the slogan and disney/bear logo clothes also. Not buying anymore clothes untill we find the sex, got lots of plain white vests currently.

Am watching this for ideas! I did read about a swedish company that does clothing for children, not for boys and girls, but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Sorry. Am rubbish.

H&M do a whole range of plain basics in lots of colours for sensible prices. They don't show the whole range online - better to go into the store.

You can get plain white ones in most places, but if you want colours they are harder to find. I love a baby clothes search though! Do you not want ANY pictures, or is it just certain kinds? For example would babygros with pictures of animals on be okay (as long as they aren't saccarine bunnies etc?)

Also, if you're willing to pay the ridiculous prices for the imported swedish ones, toby tiger, no added sugar, etc, then you might as well buy those packs which have a few nice ones and a couple of slogan ones and just take the slogan ones straight to the charity shop or keep them for spares when baby has puked on everything else, or just for sleeping in or something.

H&M stripey, plain etc. Nice bright colours too.

And a ton of logo'd stuff. But the plain things are there.

Blue Zoo at debenhams have some nice stripy romper type things as well as a few babygros.
TK maxx often have lovely clothes but you do have to be prepared to root through.
In the baby event at Asda I got DS2 some plain coloured babygro's in orange yellow and green.
Marks and Spencer have a pack of plain vests in the boys section navy,green, yellow, red and orange.

jojo maman et bebe do loads of traditional style and funky clothes for babies up to five year olds which aren't plastered in ghastly slogans (or any slogans at all in fact), as do John Lewis. At other end Tesco and Sainsburys both have their fair share of logod crap but also do some genuinely lovely stuff which is very similar to, and indeed often indistinguishable from, jojo and JL stuff. You just have to be prepared to hunt through the rails a bit. In fact one of DS's nicest summer shirts (green and blue check, short sleeves, front pocket, had a fake T shirt inner layer on it which I didn't like so I cut it out) came from Store 21. Four quid.

I really love custom handmade babywear too, which is hard to find in the UK but lots of sellers in the US.

I was going to say H&M but I see others have beaten me too it. They are exactly what you are looking for, plain, stripy, colourful, nice quality for the price, a bit funky.

Sainsburys and John Lewis.

More expensive- green baby, organic baby, ej sikke lej, katvig, snoppies etc. Nordic kids is a great site!

Primark have plain white ones & stripes/spot 7 packs for £7, Debenhams has some good stuff too, it's about £6 for 2 pack of short sleeve babygros there.

As already said; Little White Co have some great plain stuff too.

I'm the same. I don't mind appliqué stuf like animals on then but hate hate HATE slogans. We've just got a load of stuff from H&M and boots. Our child will be one stripey baby

You are more likely to get plainer stuff from eco-friendly/organic clothes suppliers online, eg greenbaby. Handmade stuff would be available online from Etsy, or from local craft markets. This problem gets much worse when they are older btw!

Plain sleepsuits and vests are quite easy to find, but I haven't managed to find any plain rompers (all in one t-shirt and shorts) anywhere. I wanted to dye and customise them.
