Went to the hospital sat there for 6 hours to be told i have errosion on my cervex and i can come home. ????? How in do you get errosion on your cervex? have been having tightenings and period pains but cervex is closed. I just really bemused? any ideas?

the pains and tightenings could be braxton hicks which is common this close to the end.

I'm 24 weeks and have had persistent bleeding throughout this pregnancy. Was sent to labour ward with a tummy bug 2 weeks ago i was told that i too have an erosion or whats also known as an ectropion. Its completely normal, just a hormonal change to your cervix and won't effect your baby at all. It will disappear after a while.

Should add the tummy bug started like contractions too and the MW explained that the uterus is easily irritated so can cause contraction like pain. Tummy bugs and kidney infections all common causes of this.

thanks all tried sleeping and having a bath. still feel tight in my tummy and really emotional. Will look at the link in a min just on the wrong computer it won't come up. she sent samples off for testin om my urine so have to go dr wednesday.
