I thought when the baby dropped this terrible pain would stop, but i'm due in 5 daysand actually feel like my ribs have broken a couple of times :(

Big sympathies, mine is lying oblique and has been for weeks (am 32 weeks) and by ribs feel like they have been broken too (and I have had broken ribs before) He keeps kicking the same spot. Hope when he turns this will stop but looking at Rooks post - maybe not!

Oh ouch, I remember this from when I was around 32 weeks. One spot on my ribs was so painful I would actually cry if something bumped me there. The baby never kicked me there, it was just constant pressure and agonising pain.

When DD was born, the doctors were very worried she had a club foot as it was bent almost completely 'inwards', but it straightened out and was perfectly normal within a week - they said afterwards that she must have been lying with it pressed against my ribs and it had 'got used' to the position!
