I am 23+1 pregnant and am going to a physic night on Sunday.

i have been told lots of different things about it

  1. Thats its dangerous for the baby
  2. That its fine
  3. Thats certain readers won't do it

Has anybody had 1 whilst pregnant or know the truth?

Worried about it just incase!

I'm not going to comment on your thread because I can't believe in this day an age people still visit physics (sic). How in earth could it harm your baby in any way?

My only comment is I think you might be visiting a psychic and not a physic.

ermm... is there something i don't know about psychics?? how on earth is someone 'estimating' what will happen in your future going to affect your baby?? Confused you do know some people spout crap when they have nothing else to say hides

I saw physic reiki lady morning I conceived ds3. I asked if I'd have another baby and she said some strange things which I won't go into as too long but went back when 7 months and asked her if she'd been trying to tell me something and she said yes. Anyway he's absolutely fine. It was nice unthreatening experience. Strangely she told me at 7 months he wouldn't be my last and I thought she was bonkers. Saw another psychic when he was 9 months and he came. He was so calm and just slept in my arms which was weird. Again unthreatening and she loved him. Again she said he wouldn't be my last. He wasn't - I'm pregs with ds4 - the immaculate bloody conception given I haven't had a period for over 2 years. Anyway ds3 not affected. Calm, happy wee boy.

The worry is people will believe the bollocks and guestimates them and cause worry/anxiety/stress for mums to be, thus causing problems.

I'm not a believer myself, if you haven't guessed I'm meant to have twin boys and another 2 by now according to 2 different psychics of different persuasions - DC1 on the way)

As long as you can approach them objectively then I guess you won't have problems. If you're the kind of person that avoids cracks in the pavement otherwise something bad will happen, or has lucky number then I'd probably avoid it.
