So,

Because of a medical condition the obstetrician is happy to let me go to 39+3 at the latest; any later is at my own risk.

I have been thinknig about starting with the evening primrose to 'ripen' my cervix and am also thinking about starting some acupuncture at 37 weeks on the points known to induce labour.

anyone tried it? any success? desperately want this baby to come on his own!

Thanks x

I had accupuncture for HG

My accupuncturists were telling me it had a high success rate, but that they would NOT to do it to any woman before 40 weeks, not even 39+6.

I think there must be some sort of code that they have to follow, because they really were adament about it. (2 different ones said the same to me and absolutely no exceptions ever!)

I will be going for accupuncture at 40 weeks

Didn't work for me! I had endless reflexology, acupuncture, burned clary sage...DS2 still came at 42 weeks!
