Rubella and MMR jab

Hi, I;m 15 weeks pregnant and just found out I am no longer immune to german measles (rubella). My DD is just about 12 months and so will soon be due for her MMR. What I wondered is, will I be putting myself at risk (e.g. changing her nappies) if she gets the jab? I don't want to risk catching german measles, when I could just wait 6 months and get DD vaccinated then....

Help greatly appreciated.

My dd didnt have her MMR till she was 18 months either,so im sure it will be fine to wait. Id ask your midwife or gp about getting vaccinated as im sure you can while pregnant.

i think its better to wait til they are 18 months anyway, i did for dd1 and im doing the same for dd2
