Freak Out Room / Grad Thread Great Northern meet up

Hello lovely ladies. Right, it seems we have finally managed to set a date to meet. But I thought a thread where we can all post to arrange venue and other pleasantries would be helpful seeing as though reply all in PM doesn't work! Grrrr

So suggestions welcome! X

I think we're all being too polite on both accounts

Think final 2 suggestions where browns / bar and grill. I'm easy but in the spirit if making arrangements final will suggest bar and brill as I think that was closest to train station and prob most convient.

Might be worth asking daisy what time is best forever as she is travelling furthest (I think-although mouse how far are you coming?) Will post on t'other threads a reminder.

Sorry for being so tardy in getting back to you all!

Looking at the timetable, the trains get in at 10.30 and 12.00ish, and leave to come home at 14.45 and 17.50ish.

Does this help? I would please ask that

a) don't cut your time short because of my stupid trains
b) make any plans around them specifically as the meet is only 10 days before my DD and we may not make it

But it would be fab to meet you all, I just need an excuse to explain to OH why I'm fit to come and meet you all, but not up to attending an evil NCT class the next day

Hi ladies, I'm travelling from Newcastle

I can be in Leeds for about 10am no problems or closer to lunch time if people would rather we went straight to food.

Hope that's ok.

I can be there whatever time, DH will be pleased if it's nearer lunchtime as then I have less time to spend money in the shops

Think most of the tables have fixed seating round them, ie circular sofas, and thought that might not be so good for Daisy so might suggest that we ask the lovely people there if we could have the private room upstairs - there is a lift!

Just checked out the menu. Am bloody starving. Hot chocolate toffee fondue with mexed berries and toasted marshmallows?

I'll happily sort table/reservation - will make the booking this weekend
for the agreed date at 12.00 - that gives time for people to either say yes or no before then.
