Hope someone can help me with my query?
I am coming up to 9 weeks on Tuesday. Yesterday, after taking my dog for a walk and popping to the loo, I noticed that I had been bleeding. It wasn't heavy and was very pink, but it was enough for me to phone NHS Direct, worried that I might be having a miscarriage. The advice was that I was to rest and if it got worse to go to A&E.
The bleeding has stopped but I can't stop worrying about it (which I know doesn't help) as I had cramping the evening before I bled, which I put down to indigestion after scoffing my food quite quickly. I have been, up and until now, ignoring the cramping pains as I had read that this was probably general aches and pains from your body moving about and stretching.
I just wanted to know if many of you have experienced the same? Also how much rest are you suppose to have, because now I feel I should have my feet up constantly and not do a thing, but I know that it just isn't practical to sit around doing nothing, not when you have a full-time job.
The last 9 weeks have gone so slowly, I've eaten all the right foods, stopped drinking, limited my caffeine, been taking supplements for the last 7 months, done everything I can to make this a smooth pregnancy and have a healthy baby at the end of the 9 months. I just can't wait to have my scan so we can find out if everything is ok. I haven't even had my first midwife appointment yet. How on earth do I relax for 40 weeks!!??!
I should also explain that in the last week we have found out that the house we were buying has fallen through and work is very busy and stressful. I am also worried about telling my very anti-babies female boss in a months time.
hmm think I need to start yoga!!
Would love to hear your thoughts.
